We are saddened beyond words that you have a reason to search for us.  We hope we can provide a safe place for you to be with your grief, both on your own and in the company of others who understand.

The purpose of our Society and this site is to provide bereaved parents in Edmonton with resources and most importantly “peer support” to assist in the grieving process.  Our “peer support” comes directly from parents just like you, who have experienced the devastation the death of a child brings.

The Grieving Parents Society (GPS) of Edmonton is a: 

• non-profit Society registered in the Province of Alberta;
• a peer support group, which seeks to provide caring, compassion, understanding and friendship
• to assist a parent(s) with the transition into a future that includes the memory of a lost child, securely part of that new life, in joy and remembrance.
